James Potter was Harry Potter's father. He was often mentioned but only ever appeared twice. Once through the Stone of Resurrection in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the other in The Goblet of Fire when Voldemort's and Harry's wands connected. He told his son that he would always be with him when he appeared through the Stone of Resurrection.
James Potter was killed by Lord Voldemort when trying to protect Harry and was hit by the Killing Curse.

There is always more to write, although I do a poor job of it. =Þ --Devil's Snare 22:29, August 15, 2010 (UTC)
You might want to write a bout the chapters Snape’s worst memory, about James saving Snape, and about him being an animagus. -AcrobaticsLynx29
